About the coach

At nineteen I decided fitness belonged to everyone.

Eight years and seven gym-floor years later I'm still saying it. Louder. With evidence. And with a client list that runs from sixteen to eighty.

The story

Before the cert

I'm twenty-seven. I have been in a gym environment for over seven years of my adult life. That's a long time to spend in one room, watching the same people show up with the same problems and the same questions. I learned the trade by being on the floor — not by reading about it.

Before I was a coach I was just a kid who liked moving heavy things and feeling the difference it made the next morning. Lifting found me before I found it. That's true for a lot of us.

The decision moment

At nineteen years old I made the decision that fitness should be a part of every person's life. Not as an aesthetic. Not as a discipline. As a basic human right, like clean water and decent sleep. The reason was simple: I had watched people in my own family lose mobility and independence in their fifties and sixties because no one had ever told them that bodies need to be loaded to stay alive.

That decision is what eventually became Bustillos Builds co. Not a business name. A vow.

The transformation that confirmed it

Years later, working what I now call Youthfit, I had a client regain mobility she hadn't had in twenty years. Not a big transformation by Instagram standards — no shredded after photo, no dramatic before — just a woman who could squat to the floor and stand up under her own power for the first time in two decades. That was the transformation that confirmed the path. The "after" photo for that one is a video of her playing on the floor with her grandkid. I'll never forget it.

"You're as young as you feel." — and how you feel is decided largely by what you do every day with the body you've got.

The Bustillos method, in one paragraph

Five-gate mobility screen first. Then a recovery floor we build before we build anything else — sleep, steps, breathing, water, an honest audit of what your body actually has left to give. Then we layer training in chunks of four to six weeks at a time. Then, when the foundation can carry it, we add an herb protocol that fits the specific human in front of me — never copy-pasted from a YouTube guru.

What I stand against

I'll be honest about a few things. I'm allergic to anything unfitness-oriented dressed up as fitness — the gimmicks, the 50-supplement stacks, the "burn fat while you sleep" copy, the cherry-picked transformation photos. I have never had any contradictory beliefs that weren't from a best-interest perspective. Translation: I change my mind when better evidence shows up, and I tell you why.

The single biggest thing I rail against is the neglect of nutritional herbs. The brands I admire most — Dragon Herbs in particular — have been quietly doing what the rest of the industry refuses to. Reishi, ashwagandha, astragalus, ginger. Real plants for real recovery. We don't push pills. We push patience.

The unexpected fact

Energetic. I know that sounds like a job-application word. It's not. It means I will outwork your tiredness. When you show up flat, the session won't be flat. That is part of what you're paying for.

If any of this sounds like a coach you'd actually want — let's talk.
